Moving soil, fertilizer, or construction materials inside greenhouses and courtyards is usually difficult for larger loaders. Operators often rely on manual shoveling and wheelbarrows, which require significant labor input. The SMT-690 can work comfortably in these restricted spaces and complete repetitive loading and transport tasks much faster, with productivity commonly exceeding manual handling by more than twelve times.

During renovation work in older residential districts, narrow passages frequently prevent larger equipment from entering the site. In these conditions, the SMT-690 can shuttle debris between the work area and disposal point over distances of 30–50 meters. A complete loading, transport, and dumping cycle typically takes around 20 seconds, allowing approximately 36 cubic meters of crushed-stone waste to be cleared per hour. For many small renovation jobs, this can replace the workload normally assigned to two workers for an entire day.

Rainy weather often creates soft ground conditions around livestock farms and compost storage areas. While wheeled machines may experience wheel slip and reduced productivity, the SMT-690's rubber tracks help maintain traction and stable movement. Under typical working conditions, the machine can move around 40–45 cubic meters of organic fertilizer per hour. Over the course of a full shift, this represents roughly 320–360 cubic meters of material transferred and prepared for field application.
